For many of us, our pets are like family, and just like human members of the household, they come with plenty of their own stuff! To help you get organised and prevent your pet supplies from cluttering your household, we’ve pulled together five top tips on storing your pet supplies.

1.     Pull out food storage

A particularly great option if you have a large dog or just several dogs/cats, pull-out food storage is a convenient way of storing dry food. If you have a sneaky pup who is very talented at knocking over food tubs, pull-out food storage also eliminates this issue! Add a scoop for maximum convenience and you’re all set to go.

2.     Organise treats into jars

Organising your furry friend's treats into jars is a great way of ensuring they’re easily on hand (no wrestling with plastic bags!) as well as ensuring that they stay fresher for longer. Don’t forget to label the jars, it can also be helpful to add the maximum treat allowance onto the label to make sure you don’t overindulge your pet!

3.     Get a hamper basket to store toys in

Pet owners will be familiar with tripping over their four-legged friend’s toys! To help avoid this, get your pet its own toy hamper. This makes tidying up easy as you can chuck all of their toys in the hamper and still allow your pet access to them.

4.     Tuck their bed away

Everyone needs a quiet space for themselves, and our pets are no different. Make use of that awkward nook in your home and pop your pet’s bed there. This allows them to have a space away from everyone else whilst also ensuring their bed is not in your way.

5.     Set up a pet station

A pet station is a great space that you can dedicate to your pet! This can either be a piece of furniture like a cabinet, shelves you’ve added to the wall or even stackable boxes. There are plenty of options to suit everyone’s space!
