Could your community group benefit from seasonal storage?

Could your community group benefit from seasonal storage?

The benefits to businesses of seasonal storage seem obvious; it’s a great way to put stock away for next year that you don’t need right now. But it’s not just businesses that can reap the rewards of this way of thinking — loads of community groups take part in seasonal activities which don’t require certain equipment or resources for big chunks of the year.

If you’re a volunteer or member of a community group, perhaps seasonal storage could benefit you too. Here are a few such groups who could make the most of putting some things in storage for a while:

Amateur Dramatics groups

As we come into the winter months, panto season is ramping up for both the big theatres and the smaller amateur dramatics groups across the nation... oh no it’s not, oh yes, it is! They’re great fun for all the family, but when we’re into the new year, where does your am-dram group stow away its two-man horse and dame costumes ready for next Christmas?

Sports Club

The clubhouse of your local sports club has so much to store, like furniture for events, balls, equipment, a lawnmower and tools for tending to the pitch and so much more. It can be a struggle to find room for it all! If you’re part of a club that doesn’t have a permanent home like a clubhouse, it can be even harder to find room for all your gear!

Arts group

Some arts groups run out of a member’s house, while others use village halls or community centres for members to work on their painting or drawing. More often than not, neither will have much room for art resources, mounting equipment needed for exhibitions or the work of its members. A storage unit with us can solve all that!

Local charities

Conferences, roadshows and networking events are a big deal for charities in the summer months, but they run less often in the winter; so what are you going to do with your presentation boards, pamphlets and promotional material in the mean time? Consider a unit with us!

Youth clubs and children’s clubs

Clubs run for youngsters out of a hall, school or community centre might need lots of equipment to keep them entertained — footballs, hoops and sports gear for the warm summer months; board games, toys and arts equipment for the wet winter season. If the space you’re using can’t accommodate your stuff, consider us.

With our central location just off the A30 dual carriageway near Bodmin, we’re easily accessible for community groups across the whole county of Cornwall. If you think that storing with us might help out your group, give us a call on 01726 890880 and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have.
