1.    Over the door racks

A particularly great option if you’re renting and can’t fix anything to your walls, over the door racks hook onto doors and there are a variety of options. Not only can you get hooks to hang clothes, coats, etc, but you can also get a wide array of shelving which are perfect for using in any room of the house. They’re great as spice racks in a kitchen, can store all your products in the bathroom and are also fantastic for kid’s toys, pet supplies, jewellery organisers…the list is endless!

2.    Storage beds

You may not be able to fit the same number of wardrobes and furniture into your new room which makes a storage bed perfect for small spaces! Typically, storage beds come with several draws underneath that attach to the bed frame, and nowadays there are plenty of different styles to choose from! If you don’t want to buy a new bed, you can always invest in storage boxes to keep under your bed instead.

Okay, okay, we know this is an obvious one, but the trusty hook is a tried and tested solution for small spaces! Suitable for every room, it’s perfect for hanging up bits and bobs. They come in plenty of different sizes and designs too, so you can be stylish and functional!

4.    Furniture that doubles as storage

It’s not just beds that double as storage units! Make the absolute most of your space with furniture that doubles as storage. There is a whole host to choose from, including tables and ottomans that double as storage bins, TV stands with built in shelving and cupboards and sofas that have storage compartments built in.

5.    Draw organisers

Keeping your space tidy and organised is especially important when you don’t have as much room. Draw organisers will help you to efficiently store everything from make-up to office essentials, ensuring you can maximise the space you have on offer.
